Finance minds with dirt-under-the-nails development experience.

Nemesis Partners sits at the intersection of structured finance and energy project development. We don't just model deals — we build them from the ground up, navigate interconnection queues, manage construction risk, and deliver operating assets to our capital partners.

Our focus is community solar and EV charging infrastructure in Illinois, where policy tailwinds and grid economics create outsized opportunity for disciplined operators.

Project Finance

Tax equity structuring, debt placement, and capital stack optimization for distributed energy assets.

Deal Structuring

Partnership flips, inverted leases, sale-leasebacks — we architect the structure that fits the capital.

Syndication

Institutional placement of tax equity and project-level debt across our network of capital partners.

Development

Site control, permitting, interconnection, EPC management, and COD delivery for community solar.

We believe the best deals are built on transparency, speed, and conviction.

Our capital partners trust us because we put our own equity at risk. Our development partners trust us because we close on time. That's the Nemesis standard.

Active Portfolio

10 community solar projects. 50 megawatts. All Illinois.

Every project in our portfolio is a 5 MW community solar installation developed under the Illinois Adjustable Block Program.

Current Projects

Community solar across central and northern Illinois — delivering clean energy and subscriber savings.

Institutional-grade solar. Aligned incentives.

We structure community solar investments that deliver predictable, contracted cash flows backed by Illinois policy and federal tax incentives.

Illinois community solar is a policy-driven investment thesis.

The Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) mandates aggressive renewable procurement targets, creating long-duration revenue certainty for community solar assets enrolled in the Adjustable Block Program.

Our projects deliver stacked returns through REC revenue, net metering credits, federal ITC/PTC election, and bonus adders for low-income subscriber participation. Each 5 MW project is independently financed with project-level non-recourse debt and tax equity.

From sourcing to COD — our process is built for institutional rigor.

01

Origination & Site Control

We identify and secure agricultural sites with favorable interconnection economics, strong irradiance, and proximity to load. Land is placed under long-term lease or option.

02

Permitting & Interconnection

County permits, utility interconnection applications, and ABP enrollment are managed in-house. We navigate the queue so capital isn't waiting on process.

03

Capital Structuring

Tax equity, construction-to-term debt, and sponsor equity are structured to optimize after-tax returns. We run the model, negotiate the docs, and close the capital.

04

Construction & COD

EPC is competitively bid with performance guarantees. We manage the build through mechanical completion, interconnection approval, and commercial operation.

05

Asset Management

Post-COD, we oversee O&M, subscriber management, REC delivery, and investor reporting. Our LPs get quarterly updates with full transparency into asset performance.
